Samuel Langhorne Clemens (November 30, 1835 – April 21, 1910), better known by his pen name Mark Twain, was an American writer, humorist, entrepreneur, publisher, and lecturer. Among his novels are The Adventures of Tom Sawyer (1875) and its sequel, the Adventures of Huckleberry Finn (1885), the latter often called "The Great American Novel".

Feluda

Feluda (Bengali: ফেলুদা), or Prodosh Chandra Mitra (Bengali: প্রদোষ চন্দ্র মিত্র), who also uses the Anglicised name Pradosh C. Mitter, is a fictional Bengali private investigator starring in a series of Bengali novels of Indian fictional detective novels and short stories written by Indian Bengali film director and writer Satyajit Ray. The detective lives at 21 Rajani Sen Road, Ballygunge, Kolkata, West Bengal, India. Feluda first made his appearance in a Bengali children's magazine called Sandesh in 1965, under the editorialship of Satyajit and Subhas Mukhopadhyay. His first adventure was Feludar Goendagiri.

Feluda is often accompanied by his cousin Tapesh Ranjan Mitra (affectionately called Topshe by Feluda), who serves as the narrator of the stories. From the sixth story, Sonar Kella (The Golden Fortress), the duo are joined by a popular thriller writer Jatayu (Lalmohon Ganguli).

Shuvro

Shuvro Series was written by the great Bangladeshi writer Humayun Ahmed

Shuvro is a pure human being. He cannot do anything wrong. He first appeared in a short story by humayun ahmed named "Shada Gari". Later he appeared in many different books : Daruchini Dip, Rupali Dip, Shuvro, Ei Shuvro Ei, Shuvro Geche Bone, Megher Chaya.

Shuvro is not the same in all the books like Himu or Misir ali. But one thing is similar in all the books: he is a perfect person. Although shuvro is not very famous like humayun's other fictional characters, still his character and purity will remain in our hearts.

MISIR ALI Series


Misir Ali is also a famous character writen by Humayun Ahmed.

Misir Ali (মিসির আলি) is a fictional psychologist character in a series of novels by Bangladeshi author, Humayun Ahmed. He was described as a "famous character" in "Bengali literature, TV and film over the last three decades.

In the books, Ali plays the role of a part-time professor of Psychology at the University of Dhaka. Despite his not being a professional psychiatrist, people come to him for psychiatric treatment because of his special interest and knowledge in parapsychology.Later he was expelled out from the University. Misir Ali is a very intelligent person and often seen solving mysteries, although never accepting money for them. He is a logical person and doesn't believe in any paranormal activities. He has a personal diary named unsolved,in which he writes about those mysteries not solved by him. He is black, tall, thin person but in other story it was mentioned that he is short the very first book of this series is Devi and the last one is jokhon namibe adhar.

Misir Ali series books are divided into three parts. They are known as Misir Ali Omnibus. Misir Ali has a minor appearance in himu's story "Himur ditiyo prohor".

HIMU

Humayun Ahmed


Himu is the most renowned character in Bengali literature. He is the brain child of the famous writer Humayun Ahmed. 'Moyurakkhir tire' was the first of Himu series. After the writing of it, the book earned so much fame that the writer had to write a sequel on it. In every Eid, he had to publish at least one sequel of this series because of public demand.

HIMU : Himu is a very mysterious person. He is a vagabond but educated. He has some spiritual power, because of which, he is able to guess the future. People around him thinks that he is a saint, but to his relatives, he is a fraud. he doesn't have a source of income. He always wears a yellow panjabi and a old jeans pant.But the fun fact is that, there is no pocket in his pant, neither there is in his panjabi. So, he can't take anything with him, not even money. But he doesn't suffer from hunger . He always does something unbelievable and interesting deeds which make everyone speechless.
